End of Season Awards 2010-2011 Congratulations to the following ladies who all had a cracking season and were honoured at the End of Season Awards at the Club in May: Best Newcomer - Heather Stephen Most Improved Player - Tania Miles Players' Player - Lizzie D'Angelo Training for the 2011/12 ladies season Tuesday training is held at the flood-lit astro pitch at Bishop Justus school, Bromley Commo and will run from 7.30- 9pm. You can find the school just off the A21 in Bromley Common, the address is: Bishop Justus Church of England School Magpie Hall Lane Bromley BR2 8HZ Thursday training is held at the Club, Sparrow's Den, West Wickham. Training will run from 7.30- 9pm with hot food available in the Club bar after training for those who have booked via the Club or Team Captain. There are changing and showering facilities at both the school and the rugby club. We look forward to seeing you there! RBS 6 Nations 2012 Ballot - How to apply for tickets Beccs are keen to give everybody a chance to experience the atmosphere of a Home International match at Twickenham - all paid-up members can apply. We are keen to make the process of applying for and receiving tickets for home international matches more open and easy to do for all paid-up club members. You will need to complete the application form and get it back to Nick Brooks with a cheque payable to BRFC. The cheques will be cashed upon receipt. On or just after 1 December 2011, all applications will be assessed. If there are no over-subscribed tickets, then your tickets will be posted to you shortly after. If there are oversubscribed tickets, then those applications will be put in a draw. If you are unsuccessful, you will receive a refund cheque shortly afterwards. RWC 2011 - England Matches being shown at the Club Rugby World Cup 2011 is here! Come and enjoy the England matches at the clubhouse and get a bit of brekkie too!!! Come and enjoy the atmosphere of watching the big England matches on the big screens with your fellow Players and Members at our clubhouse. The clubhouse will open half an hour before the stated Kick-Off times and there will be breakfast (of some description) and coffee/tea available to all. Don't miss out!! Sunday 17th July 2011 'Scrum and Try It' Day If you'd like to keep fit and have fun why not try ladies rugby? We are having a 'Scrum and Try It' day which is open to anyone interested in trying ladies rugby. That includes beginners, ladies who may have played at school or uni and would like to start playing again or ladies who are perhaps new to the area. All welcome. Begins at 2pm when there will be a training session followed by a BBQ.
